Q: Do you have discounts?
A: We offer discounts and specials from time to
time on our web site.
Q: If I place an order, how will my baskets be shipped?
A: Our preferred carrier is Federal Express and as
such the majority of our products are shipped through Federal Express.
However, we do ship using UPS from time to time as well.
Q: If I order two gift baskets or 2 cheesecakes for the same address can
they be sent in one package at less cost?
A: Unfortunately, no. Each of our gift baskets and
each cheesecake has to go into its own specially designed package. In some
cases, the gift baskets are just too large to fit into the same box. And our
shipping charges are based on a particular size and weight.
Q: Do you offer shipping insurance?
A: All gifts are insured against loss and damage
during shipping at no extra cost to you! If anything happens to your fruit or
it arrives damaged, please contact us and we will happily replace any damaged
fruit.
Q: What is your guarantee policy?
A: We guarantee the timely arrival of your gifts
in perfect condition. If you or your recipient are not 100% satisfied, simply
return the fruit gift basket item for replacement or a prompt refund. We take
pride in delivering it to you that is fresh and beautiful as when it was
plucked from the tree. If, for any reason, you (or your gift recipient) are
not completely satisfied with your gift, we'll replace it, exchange it, or
offer a full refund or credit.
Q: Can I ship my basket anywhere?
A: We ship to almost anywhere in the United
States. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, APO - FPO Boxes or foreign addresses. We
also apologize to our friends in Hawaii and Alaska, but currently we can only
ship to the continguous 48 states.
Q: What about outside the United States?
A: Not at this time. We may expand in the future,
but for now we are only shipping our gift baskets within the United States. It
is very expensive, and there is no guarantee of a timely delivery. Custom
issues can also slow down shipping.
Q: Can I send a personalized message with my gift baskets?
A: Yes, you can! Remember to include your message
in the space provided on our order form. Your baskets will arrive with your
personalized gift card.
Q: Why do you need my phone number and e-mail address?
A: We use your e-mail address to send you a confirmation of your order and update you on your order's status. We request your phone number so that we may contact you should there be a problem with delivery.
Q: Why do you need my recipient's phone number?
A: Federal Express must have the recipient's phone
number to qualify for our guaranteed delivery service. We will not contact
your gift recipients via phone unless we are having problems with delivery.
Q: How do I prepare the smoked salmon?
A: The smoked salmon is fully cooked and ready to
eat. You can add it to a dish, use it as a garnish, or just eat it right out
of the pouch.
Q: What are Summer Substitutions?
A: Due to the warmer temperatures of summer, we
substitute a few of the items that melt easily with alternate items. Please
click on the "Summer Substitutions" to see the specific item list.
Q: Why can't I have a cheesecake delivered on a Monday?
A: We cannot initiate a shipment on a
weekend. We ship our cheesecakes Monday through Thursday, for delivery on
Tuesday through Friday.
Q: How do you package your cheesecakes for shipping?
A: Our cheesecakes are blast frozen, then
shrink wrapped with a heavy cryovac plastic. Then they go into a foam
container that surrounds the cheesecake in 2 inches of insulation. This then
goes into a heavy corrugated container. The cheesecake will arrive either
partially frozen, or cold and ready to enjoy. The packaging insures that every
cheesecake will arrive in perfect condition. In the event that there is no one
home, FedEx will leave the cake if it is safe to do so. The cake will last 2+
days in the container...especially during the winter months!
Q: What time will my cheesecake arrive?
A: We ship via FedEx Standard Next Day
Service. Your cheesecake is guaranteed to arrive by 3:00pm local time.
Please Note: From our past experience, most
cheesecakes are delivered well before 3:00 pm especially to a business
address.
Q: What happens if the recipient is not home?
A: FedEx will leave the package in a safe
place at the address. About 85% of our shipments are left at the door. If we
only delivered when people are at home during the day, nothing would get
delivered! As an alternative, we recommend that you ship to a business address
if possible, as generally there is somebody there all day to receive the
package.
Q: Can I include a personlaized note with my gift?
A: Yes you can. A gift message is included
with our service. Just type in your message in the space allotted when you are
going through the payment process.
Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: Only if you are having your gift delivered in the state of Nevada. There is no tax charged for delivery in other states.
Q: What if I live in Nevada but want to send a gift to someone in another state? Do I still have to pay sales tax?
A: No. In this case, you will not have to pay sales tax if you are sending a gift to someone who lives outside of the state of Nevada.
